King of fruit, good intro to Durian for Tourist, start with ice potong

Classic Ice Potong flavour, Red Bean, packed with magnesium, iron, potassium and vitamin B3.

One of my all time favorite, another classic flavour, Vitamin A, C-vitamins, fiber.

Good source of fiber, potassium, Vitamin E, B-vitamins and folic acid.

Sweet corn, fibre and potassium and contain vitamin C, beta carotene and niacin.

Local Cendol flavour, red bean, green jelly with coconut milk.

One of the local strong tasting fruit, sweet and tempting, most malaysian have it since young. Good source of Ascorbic acid, enzymes, bioflavonoid and also rich in minerals like chromium, potassium, and magnesium etc as well as B vitamins to amino acids.

Mango!! Another great taste, goodsource of vitamin-A, vitamin-B6, vitamin-Cand vitamin-E.

As you know in Malaysia we don't have four season, the weather are either HOT or WET, but most of time it's really hot and you sweat like crazy. Hungry panda bear loves ice cream and especially local cendol, ABC (Ice Blended with lots of fruits & ice cream), Icy cold lemon tea....... and not forget to mention our very own Sabah popsicle (local call it Ice Potong!).

Recently I spent about two weeks in Kota Kinabalu, the sizzling burning hot sun turn hungry panda bear into a black teddy bear >.<, I swear if you leave an egg on the road, it will cooked!!

So, all I could think of is some yummy Ice potong made by Taluwang, it comes with 8 different flavours to choose from, Durian, Red Bean, Yam, Avocado, Sweet corn, Cendol, Cempedak & Mango. My top choice is the classic Red bean & Yam!

Let Panda try to describe the sensation of that first bite........ the moment when you unwrap the wrapper, you will notice some cool breeze rising up from the ice potong...... the stick is filled with red bean & ice cream, the texture is smooth, creamy, not too sweet...... very gently the ice cream is melting in my tongue!! (Yeah..... panda is pretty high!) Then you just can't help to burp out Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh...... (It is like the same feeling when I take the first sip of icy cold coca cola in a hot day!! Chill......woo!) You should try it too!!
