Today, we took about four hours from Manila to visit Maricel home at Tarlac, to distribute 200 food pack to the flood victim in that area. Ate Maricel (Ate in tagalog means sister) was very generous to offer us lunch at her parents' home, the food were amazingly delicious and tempting. (I could imagine my weight expanding..... >.<)
There were three main dishes to go with take away Roasted Chicken from Max's fast food. We have a mixed veggie with generous portion of seafood (of course I have to skip that, SEAFOOD....), and follow by Adopo a local spanish adopted dish, stir fry chicken with red pepper with pineapple chunks, sweet and sour taste goes presently well with the rice. And lastly was the skinless eggplant cooked with chopped tomatoes and onions in black soya sauce, sour and salty in taste, very appetizing. The roasted chicken was so good and the dipping sauce is none others than the famous Banana ketchup, these only can be found in Philippines.
You might wonder why they called the ice cream "Dirty", I really have no idea...... by the time we get to the stall it is sold out!! Too bad.......
Stay hungry....
